![]() Give a friendly minion of each Tavern Tier +2/+1.→ New: After you play a card with Overload, gain +1/+1. ![]() Old: Whenever you play a card with Overload, gain +1/+1.This approach then leaves us open to make further adjustments later if we need to, like we have here. It’s important to us that players’ decks usually stay intact following balance changes, even if the power of the deck may shift down. Our current balance philosophy is to move forward with light changes when we can, as we did when we first repositioned First Day of School, and we’ve seen great results over the past year with this approach. Another note on First Day of School: While the last balance change for this card only resulted in a mild change in power, we will still be attempting changes like it in the future. First Day of School and Hand of A’dal are strong performers played in all four main Paladin archetypes (Libram, Aggro, Secret, and Menagerie), and we are nerfing them in 20.4 to help other classes close the gap with Paladin. The cards listed above will be eligible for a full dust refund for 2 weeks after the 20.4 patch goes live.ĭev Comment: As we move into the launch of the Wailing Caverns Mini-Set, we’re taking the opportunity to hit some of Paladin’s generic power. → New: Add 2 random 1-Cost minions to your hand. Old: Add 3 random 1-Cost minions to your hand.Learn more about the Wailing Caverns Mini-Set here! Standard Updates The Wailing Caverns Mini-Set, launching worldwide on June 3, consists of 35 distinct cards-which can all be obtained from Forged in the Barrens card packs! The entire 66-card set (4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card (x2), 14 Rare cards (x2), and 16 Common cards (x2)) is also available for purchase from the in-game or web shop, for either $14.99 or 2000 Gold! Players that would like to read the full patch note preview can head over to the Hearthstone site. The 20.4 patch, which will release on June 3, includes the Wailing Caverns Mini-Set, updates across several modes, returning Card Backs and Hero Skins, and improvements throughout the game. Instead of being immediately asked to choose a free deck, players will be able to test six loaner decks for one week before deciding which one to permanently add to their collection for free. Lastly, starting with Patch 24.6, new and returning players will have an upgraded free deck experience. In addition, Hearthstone will be introducing a new Renown system that will let players exchange excess coins for coins of Mercs they own but haven't yet maxed. Task progress will be determined by the Mercs actively in a player’s party at that time and players will be able to progress up to six Tasks Chains at once. Then, in Patch 24.6 Hearthstone will be updating its Tasks system so all Task Chains will be available at all times. A little spooky treat for all Hearthstone players. Players can purchase the Battle Bash for 1,000 runes, but no matter what, all players get one random Bash for free. The first Battle Bash is the Hallow's End collection which will feature 10 items, including two Legendary items (a Board and a Strike). Each Hammer is then used to "Bash" for a random prize from that Battle Bash collection. Players who purchase the Battle Bash will be able to earn one “Hammer” with each Top 4 finish during the Battle Bash period. Patch 24.6 is also bringing a fun new way to get Battlegrounds cosmetic items: Battle Bash. The 24.6 Patch is bringing a bunch with it, but one exciting event is Hearthstone’s Hallow’s End which will bring back a lot of fan favorites. Players who watch for 15 minutes and have their Drops enabled will be able to earn a free Murder at Castle Nathria pack. On November 1 starting at 10 AM PST, Hearthstone will be hosting an Announcement Stream on their Twitch.
